Spring temperatures average
about 68° - 73°F Because of the mild climate, one can enjoy outdoors activities all year round. All of Georgia experiences freezing temperatures almost every year, but the frequency varies greatly from the mountains to the coast. The average number of days with temperatures of 32°F or less ranges about 110 days. Georgia's rainfall averages 50 inches annually, ranging from 2.5 inches in October to six inches in March. In North Georgia, precipitation is slightly higher. Winter in the Georgia Mountains is simply glorious. And Yes, it occasionally snows bringing with it fluffy quilts, steamy mugs of spiced tea, and warm crackling fires!
